Our Workers

Pacific Steel currently employs over 600 workers, nearly all of whom are members of the Glaziers, Molders, and Plasterers (GMP) Union Local 164B. Our workers represent nearly thirty different nationalities, and are bilingual in languages including Spanish, Mandarin and German. The size of the workforce has tripled in the last several years to meet the sharply increasing demand for high quality steel products. The American steel industry has shrunk dramatically as manufacturers have moved their operations overseas creating a serious trade imbalance for steel imports. >>more
